Education Committee to examine the availability of training and support to SNE providers and DEIS schools

The Joint Committee on Education and Skills will tomorrow meet to review the adequacy of training and supports available to providers of special needs education and education in DEIS schools. The Committee will hear from Dr. Áine Hyland, Emeritus Professor of Education at University College Cork and representatives from Irish National Teachers' Organisation (INTO), the Marino Institute of Education, the National Association of Boards of Management in Special Education (NABMSE), the National Council for Special Education (NCSE), Scoil an Naomh Uilig and St. Anne's Special School.

The meeting will commence at 4.00pm in Committee Room 2 tomorrow, Tuesday, 27 June 2017.
