The Seanad Special Select Committee on the Withdrawal of the United Kingdom heard from Mr. Pat Cox, the former President of the European Parliament last week in the Seanad Chamber.
The discussion with Mr. Cox focused on the implications of the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union in respect of the future of the European Union. The discussion was the first of five sessions held last week. The other sessions focused on topics including the implications for transport, all-island bodies and local authorities.
