Traveller community
The Committee has published its report entitled Travellers Towards a More Equitable Ireland Post-Recognition. The report makes 34 recommendations which aim to help end the stigma, longstanding prejudice, discrimination, racism, social exclusion and identity erosion being experienced by Travellers.

The Committee held a public hearing on the topic of Travellers Towards a more equitable Ireland post-recognition on Tuesday, 9 July 2019 in the Seanad Chamber.
The public hearings on this topic have concluded. The Committee’s report is being finalised and will be launched on 23 January 2020.
