I have received notice from Senator Maria Byrne that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to provide an update on the implementation of the recommendations contained in the report on the cost of motor insurance.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to provide an update on progress made on developing the post offices and community banking initiative as committed to in the Programme for a Partnership Government.

I have also received notice from Senator Paul Gavan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement regarding the funding and industrial action issues at Newport Day Care Centre, County Tipperary.

I have also received notice from Senator Máire Devine of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline his plans to address the capacity issues in Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to confirm if the 12 hospital beds at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dún Laoghaire, are now open and fully available for rehabilitation services.

I have also received notice from Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to make a statement on the need for a slip road to be built at Donabate to provide access to the M1 motorway.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Byrne, Conway, Gavan, Devine, Boyhan and Clifford-Lee as suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Byrne, Conway, Gavan and Devine and they will be taken now. Senators Boyhan and Clifford-Lee may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
