I have received notice from Senator Jennifer Murnane O'Connor that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to provide an update on the provision of a new sports hall at Presentation De La Salle, Bagenalstown, County Carlow.

I have also received notice from Senator Rose Conway-Walsh of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to give an update on enrolment difficulties at Castlebar Educate Together national school, County Mayo.

I have also received notice from Senator Kieran O'Donnell of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to provide an update on the review of whole-of-life assurance policies.

I have also received notice from Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to make a statement on the need for a slip road to be built at Donabate to provide access to the M1 motorway.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to confirm if the 12 hospital beds at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dún Laoghaire, are now open and fully available for rehabilitation services.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to consider the introduction of legislation to provide for a separation between the commercial and retail arms of all regulated financial institutions operating in Ireland to protect retail customers against the effects of future bank failures.

I have also received notice from Senator Aodhán Ó Ríordáin of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to consider removing the cap on enrolment in Education Together schools in Trim, County Meath, New Ross, County Wexford, Tuam, County Galway, Tramore, County Waterford, and Castlebar, County Mayo.

I have also received notice from Senator Maura Hopkins of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform with responsibility for the Office of Public Works to provide an update on the number of applications for the voluntary home owners relocation scheme in County Roscommon, the number of accepted applications and if he would consider extending the criteria for the scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Fintan Warfield of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to address the waiting lists for hormone replacement therapy at St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, County Dublin.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Jennifer Murnane O'Connor, Rose Conway-Walsh, Kieran O'Donnell, Lorraine Clifford-Lee, Victor Boyhan, Brian Ó Domhnaill, Aodhán Ó Riordáin and Fintan Warfield as suitable for discussion. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Jennifer Murnane O'Connor, Rose Conway-Walsh, Kieran O'Donnell and Lorraine Clifford-Lee and they will be taken now. Senators Victor Boyhan, Brian Ó Domhnaill, Aodhán Ó Riordáin and Fintan Warfield may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.

I regret that I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Maura Hopkins on the grounds that it is anticipatory of the statements on flooding which will take place in the Seanad on Wednesday, 21 February.
