Session B: 12.50 pm [Dr Pat Ivory, Director of EU and International Affairs, Ibec]

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Chairman Michael Healy Rae TD, said, “Recently, our Committee announced a call for submissions on the future of Europe. As part of this process, we are engaging directly with various citizens and stakeholder groups in order to listen to their views on and their expectations for the future of the Union. Tomorrow, we will hear from youth representatives and from IBEC. The meetings we will hold on the future of Europe, combined with our call for submissions, will be our starting point for a report we will publish in the coming months on the future of Europe and how to shape a strong future for EU citizens.”
