The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade has completed its review of the Irish Aid programme and published its report.
As part of the review, the committee met with stakeholders, considered written submissions from the public and visited two of Irish Aid’s key partner countries, Malawi and Mozambique.
The committee’s report makes nine recommendations on issues including untied aid, agricultural development, gender equality and the climate action targets of the sustainable development goals.
