Vol. 21 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - BALLAGHADEREEN OLD AGE PENSIONER.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he can state on what grounds one shilling per week was taken off the old age pension of James Golden, Drimacoo, Edmondstown, Ballaghadereen; whether he is aware that the man is absolutely destitute, and whether he will restore the pension to the full value.

No particulars regarding this case are available at the moment, and as local inquiries will have to be made, some time must elapse before I will be in a position to answer the Deputy's query.
