Vol. 37 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Relief Schemes in Clare.

Pádraig O hOgáin

(An Clár) asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (a) how much money has been given to the Board of Public Works for administration from the Relief Vote under that Department; (b) how much of this amount will be given by the Board of Public Works for expenditure in County Clare; (c) how many schemes are now in operation in County Clare; how many men paid up to the latest day on which wages were paid; what is the rate of wages paid, and where the works are situate.

The amount allocated to the Board of Works for administration from the Relief Vote is £6,150. No part of this sum has been apportioned for expenditure in the County Clare.

Mr. Hogan

Has any application been made to the Board of Works for any allocation of this amount?

Mr. Bourke

I am not aware of it.
