asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of persons who are not civil servants employed by him since March 1973; their names; their status; and their salaries.

asked the Minister for Defence the number of persons who are not civil servants employed by him since March 1973; their names; their status; and their salaries.

No person who is not a civil servant was employed by me since March, 1973. I am assuming that the Deputy's question does not comprehend civilians employed for duty with the Defence Forces at various barracks and posts under the authority of the Defence Act, 1954.
