There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named. However, there is an application from a person with a similar name of the same address. The file in this case has been referred to my Department's inspector for a report on the applicant's eligibility for a grant. On receipt of this report the matter will be finalised as quickly as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a reconstruction grant which was sanctioned on 16 March 1979 was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.
A grant in respect of the provision of a water supply was paid to the person named in July 1978. Apart from that there is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application from him for a house improvement grant. Similar information was conveyed to the Deputy in response to a question put down by him for answer on 22 May 1984.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a new house grant application from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment the outcome of a grant application made by a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and the floor area of the house as measured by the inspector from his Department.
An application was received from the person named on 30 July 1980 in respect of a house at a different address. He was requested to submit further information in support of his application but it has not been received to date. A decision cannot be conveyed in the case until these details are received in the Department.
