National aviation policy | Travel reports
In examining national aviation policy and regional airports as part of the upcoming Government review, the Committee reports on travel to sites in Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Donegal in Ireland and Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands to consider the role of aviation as part of balanced regional development.
Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Accidents) Bill 2022
The Committee's pre-legislative report welcomes the potential of an investigation unit on a par with similar structures for railway and aviation. The Committee requests that the Minister publish the Clinchmaritime review and further consider the detailed proposals put forward in the Lacey report.
