Vol. 55 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Trade Loan Defaulters.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state in respect of loans guaranteed under the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, the several firms and individuals who have defaulted in their payments and the amounts paid out of the Central Fund arising out of such defaults in respect of principal and interest.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 6 of the Principal Act, particulars of sums which have been issued out of the Central Fund for the fulfilment of guarantees under the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts are laid before the Dáil during the month of April in each year. The return to the 31st March, 1935, will be presented before the end of this month and it would be undesirable to anticipate the presentation of the account.
