asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the total number of persons on the register in each local employment office area on the first Monday of each of the months November and December, 1935; and the number of persons in each such area who were paid unemployment assistance during the week preceding the first Monday in each of the months of November and December, 1935.

A return showing the total number of persons on the register in each local employment office area on the first Monday in each of the months November and December, 1935; and the number of persons in each such area who were paid unemployment assistance during the week preceding the first Monday in each of the months of November and December, 1935, will be circulated with the Official Report.

Return is as follows:—

Total number of persons on the Register in each Local Employment Office area on 4th November, 1935, and 2nd December, 1935, and the number of persons who were paid Unemployment Assistance during each of the weeks preceding 4th November, 1935, and 2nd December, 1935.
