asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the following tenants of the village of Cross, Ballinrobe, County Mayo, namely :— Michael Corless, Coolavalley, Cross, R.O. No. 2500, County Mayo; Martin Walsh, Houndswood, Cross, R.O. No. 6232, County Mayo; James Walsh, Houndswood, Cross, R.O. No. 6224, County Mayo; Thomas Walsh, Cordroon, Cross, R.O. No. 2518, County Mayo; Patrick Fox, Cordroon, Cross, R.O. No. 2522, County Mayo; Michael Murphy, Funshona, Cross, R.O. No. 2511, County Mayo; Honor Varilly, Funshona, Cross, R.O. No. 94/5490, County Mayo; Denis King, Carheens, Cross, R.O. No. 2491, County Mayo; Representatives Catherine King, Carheens, Cross, R.O. No. 10, County Mayo; Patrick Murphy, Carheens, Cross, R.O. No. 2484, County Mayo; Denis Murphy, Carheens, Cross, R.O. No. 2482, County Mayo; Bridget M. Morrin, Billapark, R.O. No. 94/5473C, County Mayo; John Farrell, Castletown, Cross, R.O. No. 2512, County Mayo; Michael Walsh, Cross, R.O. not available; Thomas Hynes, Castletown, Cross, R.O. not available; Patrick Kenney, Gortacurra, Cross, R.O. not available, have no turbary; that they have made several applications to the Irish Land Commission for turbary plots in Dalgan and Cloghansmore bogs, and if he will state what action it is intended to take in the matter.

Local inquiry is being made into the conditions of the tenants mentioned, and when the inspector's report on the matter has been received the Deputy will be informed directly as to what action, if any, can be taken by the Land Commission.
