asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that, contrary to customary procedure, the assistant county manager, North Cork public health area, appointed a tenant to one of the new houses in Peter O'Neill Crowley's Place who was single on the closing date for application and on the date of the housing superintendent's inspection and who was ruled out by the superintendent, and that this applicant, who got married before the county medical officer's inspection, went into his father-in-law's house, where there were 11 persons living in two bedrooms, and that the county medical officer selected him for the house; and, if so, if he has satisfied himself that this appointment was in keeping with the Department's housing regulations.
