Vol. 158 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Offaly Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of applications received, and the number of applicants interviewed to date, by officers of the Land Commission in connection with the scheme for the division of the estate of the representatives of the late Edward John Odlum, Cloneyquinn, Offaly.

I am informed by the Land Commission that 64 applications have been received and 56 applicants interviewed to date in connection with the scheme for the division of these lands.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary say if all the applicants will be interviewed within a reasonable time?
