Vol. 163 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Stock Exchange Requirements.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether in order to stimulate interest in Irish securities, and to protect the interests of investors, he will consider the introduction of legislation to compel all public companies to fulfil the requirements of the Stock Exchange in order to have their shares marketable thereon.

A committee is inquiring into the question of the reform of company law at present and I would suggest that it is to that committee any specific suggestion should be conveyed.
