Dáil Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 7 May 1958

Vol. 167 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order:— Nos. 5 and 1. If it should happen that the discussion on those should terminate, it is proposed to revert to the Estimates—Votes Nos. 61, 62, and 63. It is proposed not to interrupt Government business to take Private Members' time. It is hoped it may be possible to conclude the debate on the Budget Resolution to-day. I gather it has not been found feasible so far to secure general agreement on that but, if it should happen that agreement can be negotiated in the course of the afternoon, the decision will be communicated to the House.

I have already indicated our concurrence.

There is no agreed time table?

There is no order of the Dáil.

The suggestion was that the Minister would be called upon to conclude at 9 o'clock.

We may get to that stage yet.

Le cúnamh Dé.

If the Minister for Health will keep out of it.
