asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the cause of the delay in inviting tenders for the extension of the Fethard regional water supply to Drangan and Killenaule; and if, in view of the grave danger to public health in the town of Killenaule where there is at present no public water supply or sewerage, he will endeavour to have the matter expedited.

The report of the inspector who held the public local inquiry in the matter is at present being examined in my Department and I hope to be in a position to give a decision at an early date.
