Vol. 176 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business, as set out in the Order Paper, as follows: Nos. 1, 4, 14, 15, 16, 17 (Votes 55 and 56). It is proposed that consideration of Government business be not interrupted today at the time fixed for taking Private Members' Business.

Would the Taoiseach say if the sitting days will be the same next week?

As far as I know at present. If there is any desire among the Parties to have extended sittings next week in order to complete the business of the session, then of course we shall be agreeable to it. Otherwise, the days will be the same.

I wish to give notice, Sir, of my intention to raise the subject matter of Questions 11 and 12 on today's Order Paper on the Adjournment.

The Deputy will have to opt for one question. The Chair is disinclined to allow two questions to be discussed.

Then we shall take No. 11 today and No. 12 tomorrow.

I shall communicate with the Deputy.
