asked the Minister for Health the capital and the maintenance costs of fluoridation since the passing of the Act.

Up to 31st December, 1966, a total of 13 separate water supplies, serving approximately 950,000 people, had been fluoridated.

The total capital cost of fluoridating these supplies was £34,105. The total operating and maintenance costs up to 31st December, 1966, were approximately £21,000.
