Vol. 233 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Training of Nurses.

88.

asked the Minister for Health what effect the recent decision of the British General Nursing Council not to accept any nurses that have qualified in hospitals with a complement of less than 300 beds will have on trained nursing personnel in this country; and if there have been any developments in this matter since a reply of 28th March.

I have nothing further to add to my reply to Deputy O'Connell's Questions of the 28th ultimo in relation to this matter.
