asked the Minister for Agriculture if aid under part VI of the farm modernisation scheme had so far been made available to farm groups for purposes other than the purchase of farm machinery and, if so, the other purposes for which assistance has been given, the number of groups involved and the amount of money paid.
Launching aid is available to recognised groups for the provision of services of mutual aid between farmers. While some interest has been shown in this scheme no completed project has been submitted to date.
