49.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who has been on the waiting list for the past six years.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that it will be possible to do so for about a year.

55.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if arrangements will be made to provide a telephone service for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin; and if this will be regarded as an urgent case in view of the serious illnesses which the applicant's children have.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that it will be possible to do so for about a year.

56.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the telephone of a subscriber in County Dublin (details supplied) will be repaired as it has been defective for many months.

There is no record of any recent complaint about the standard of service on this line. Following discussion with the subscriber the line has been tested. No fault was found but further tests are being carried out in case the difficulties complained of recur.
