Written Answers . - School Transport .

592.

Mr. Leonard

asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the special circumstances that exist in relation to school transport for children from Emyvale village to Corracrin national school, County Monaghan, she will examine the submission from the management board.

: I have examined the submission from the board of management of Corracrin national school, County Monaghan.

The position is that the increased fares apply equally to all primary school pupils who are ineligible for free school transport but who avail of fare-paying facilities on special school transport services throughout the country.
