I would refer the Deputy to my Department's press statement of 9 November last which stated:
It has not yet been decided where the staff of the Curriculum and Examinations Board, when it takes over the running of the examinations, will be located.
The Department also wishes to point out that, in the event of its being decided that they be located in Dublin, arrangements will be made to transfer some other blocks of work to Athlone, sufficient to retain the present Examination Branch staff in Athlone.
Copies of the statement have been supplied to the staff associations.
