My Department paid a total of £21,580 in 1984 in respect of the services to which the Deputy refers. The total was broken down between public relations — D'Arcy Smith and Associates (£369) — and consultancy services (£21,211) — the Institute for Industrial Research and Standards, the Local Government Computer Services Board, Norcontel Limited, and the Department of Micro-Biology, UCG.
