The relevant amount, which was paid to the firm of Des Benson and Associates, Public Relations Consultants, for both the Department of Fisheries and Forestry and the Department of the Gaeltacht, was approximately £23,500, including VAT and approved expenses as prescribed by Civil Service regulations.
