Vol. 363 No. 4

Written Answers. - Shannon Flood Scheme.

179.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will reinvestigate the application for aid under the Shannon flood scheme of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; if he is aware that this farmer suffered very substantial losses; and if he will arrange to have the full amount of grant-aid paid in this case.

The amount of aid paid to the applicant (£246) was in keeping with the terms of the scheme. He will however, be reconsidered automatically for further aid under the feed voucher scheme.
