Vol. 369 No. 8

Written Answers. - Kilgobnet (Kerry) School.

224.

asked the Minister for Education the reason his Department refused to accept payment of the local contribution in respect of the proposed new primary school at Kilgobnet, near Killorglin, County Kerry.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a question on 22 October 1986 regarding the provision of grants for a new national school at Kilgobnet, County Kerry. It would not have been appropriate to accept payment of the local contribution before the commencement of the project had been re-scheduled. The local contribution has now been received in my Department with a view to commencement of work in the near future.
