233 Mr. G. Brady asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has for the construction of the proposed vocational education committee buildings at the Bishop Street site, Dublin 8; when building will commence; and when the College of Commerce, Rathmines, will be transferred there.

A new college will be provided at the Bishop Street site which will allow for the centralisation of the Colleges of Commerce and Marketing and Design on one campus. It is intended that construction will commence in 1991, and that the transfer of the College of Commerce will be effected in 1993.
