59 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Justice the number of cases of sexual abuse of children which were investigated by the Garda for each year for which figures were available since 1980; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The relevant statistics for the years 1980 to 1989 are given in the tabular statement I am circulating in the Official Report.
