44 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the Government have received any approach from the Libyan authorities regarding a multi-million investment programme in Irish industry; if he will outline the details of any such proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

No specific proposals have been made either to me or to my Department by the Libyan authorities concerning a multi-million investment programme in Irish industry.
