194 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if his Department use private couriers to deliver departmental correspondence; the courier firms which are currently engaged; and the total amount paid to private courier firms for each year since 1984.
My Department does on occasion engage private couriers to deliver departmental correspondence.
The courier firms which are currently used when the need arises are: Efficient Delivery Systems, Interlink Express International Ltd. and Securicor Express International Ltd.
The total amount paid to private courier firms for each year since 1984 is as follows:
