203 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her present policy regarding the construction of a post-primary school on her Department's site at Kingswood Heights, Tallaght, Dublin 24; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
It was decided in 1987 that a post-primary school be provided in Castleview to cater for the Castle-view/Kingswood/Kilnamanagh areas.
However, in view of the considerable capital expenditure involved, the many urgent demands on the limited capital available and the continued availability of post-primary pupil places in schools within a reasonable distance, I am not in a position to say when the school will be provided.
My Department are keeping the matter under review.
