Question:190 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education when she will authorise the payment of the rural science honoraria to ten relevant teachers employed by Clare vocational education committee.

My Department is currently examining a number of claims submitted by County Clare vocational education committee.
A decision will be conveyed to the vocational education committee as soon as my Department is satisfied that the activities and amounts claimed for individual teachers fall to be paid within the terms of the relevant circular letter.
