Vol. 467 No. 1

Written Answers. - Harassment of Dublin Residents.

Tony Gregory

Question:

262 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice the action, if any, the gardaí are taking in respect of a group of ten to 12 year old children who are a constant source of harassment to residents (details supplied) in Dublin 7, and, who within the last week set fire to clothes on clothes lines and endangered people's homes. [12608/96]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they have not received any such complaints from the residents of the location in question. Gardaí will liaise with local neighbourhood watch co-ordinators and residents to determine the extent of any such problems. All complaints and concerns made known to the gardaí will be fully investigated.
