Question:178 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the number of personnel within his Department who are on career breaks, job sharing or have other special arrangements. [22108/96]

Limerick East): The information requested by the Deputy is as follows. There are 15 members of staff currently on career breaks, and there are a total of 39 officers who hold job-sharing arrangements within my Department.
In relation to personnel who have other special arrangements, the position is that there are seven officers on special leave, and a further six officers on secondment to outside agencies. In addition, two officers are on loan to the Department of Finance as part of the Administrative Officer exchange programme for training purposes.
