Question:

431 Mr. Hilliard asked the Minister for Justice the plans, if any, she has to improve the court facilities in County Meath in 1997, which are urgently needed, especially in Navan town. [1296/97]

Plans have been prepared for the refurbishment and extension of Trim courthouse and for the refurbishment of Dunshaughlin courthouse.

In addition, Meath County Council have been asked to source a suitable site for a courthouse in Navan. To date no suitable site has been located.
