Vol. 514 No. 2

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

138 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science the proposals, if any, he has to provide a school transport service for the children from Ardmore, Clashmore, Kinsalebeg and Grange, County Waterford, who are attending second level schools in Youghal, County Cork, which will drop them at the schools in the morning and collect them from the schools in the evening in order that they are not forced to travel a long distance from the schools to the pick-up point on the national primary route; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3856/00]

The school transport section of my Department is examining the matter. The Deputy will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible.
