Vol. 533 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

93 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will receive an appointment to attend Tralee General Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8451/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that the scheduling of hospital admissions is a matter for the relevant hospital concerned based upon clinical priority.

I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the Southern Health Board, who have responsibility for the provision of hospital services in the case to which the Deputy is referring, to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
