Question:

356 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will approve funding to allow for the appointment of a paediatrician at the County Hospital, Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26090/01]

The provision of medical services in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to reply to the Deputy directly.
