240 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the position regarding the inclusion of the remaining 15% of Monaghan in the most severely handicapped area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27928/01]

The position has not changed regarding the classification of the lands in County Monaghan under the disadvantaged areas compensatory allowance scheme.
