Vol. 550 No. 1

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

168 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if a holiday visa to visit here will issue to a person (details supplied) in Thailand; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7428/02]

As I stated in my response to Parliamentary Question No. 308 of 5 July 2001, I understand the Minister for Foreign Affairs, to whose Department applications for visas are submitted, has no record of having received a visa application for the person in question. If the person in question wishes to visit Ireland for a holiday, she should apply for a visa to the Irish Honorary Consul in Bangkok. Her visa application form should be accompanied by the documents specified on the information note supplied with that form.
