Question:534 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Transport the name of the body responsible for the development of integrated ticketing for public transport in Dublin; the basis for the selection of the body chosen, for example, invitation to tender; the original and current timescale provided by the body chosen for the delivery of integrated ticketing; the original and current estimated cost of introducing integrated ticketing provided by the body chosen; the body to be responsible for the administration and operation of integrated ticketing on its introduction; the basis for selecting the body to be responsible for administering and operating integrated ticketing; the rules and contractual arrangements to be applied in respect of the distribution of integrated ticketing revenues between different, participating transport service operators; the regime to be applied in respect of the pricing of tickets to be sold within the integrated ticketing system; the intended extent and scope of the integrated ticketing system, in respect of the Iarnród Éireann suburban rail services, Bus Éireann greater Dublin services, Bus Atha Cliath dedicated services such as the airport service, Luas, private dedicated services such as Aer Dart and private franchise routes, existing and envisaged; the cost to date of consultancy services and contracts entered into in respect of the development of the integrated ticketing project; the role of his Department in the integrated ticketing project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
