I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator John McGahon - the need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the upgrading of the science laboratories in De La Salle College, Dundalk, County Louth.

Senator Pauline O'Reilly - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the resolution of the issue of the 35 children with cystic fibrosis who do not have access to the drug Kaftrio and to provide an update on the status of the health technology assessment currently under way.

Senators Mary Seery Kearney and Garret Ahearn - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the operation of the drug reimbursement scheme for the anti-nausea drug Cariban for women during pregnancy, including making it available for non-consultant doctors to prescribe.

Senator Sharon Keogan - the need for the Minister for Finance to make a statement on the measures required to cushion the impact of the increase in the benefit-in-kind tax charge on workers driving company cars brought about by the CO2-based system introduced in the Finance Act 2019.

Senator Marie Sherlock - the need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on plans to abolish build-to-rent planning regulations.

Senator Martin Conway - the need for the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to expedite the processing of outstanding payments to suppliers of accommodation to Ukrainian refugees and to outline for process for renewing contracts for existing facilities.

Senator Tim Lombard - the need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the allocation of funding to Transport Infrastructure Ireland for the national roads programme for 2023 and the Department's priorities for the national roads programme projects for 2023.

Senator John Cummins - the need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the regularisation of planning permissions that were granted for holiday villages to allow for use as full-time residential accommodation.

Senator Mary Fitzpatrick - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the naming of the new national children's hospital after Dr. Kathleen Lynn.

Senator Joe O'Reilly - the need for the Minister for Defence to make a statement on the current status of the 15 Army Reserve centres, excluding military barracks or military camps, to outline staffing, training nights held and the centres in use.

Senator Emer Currie - the need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the oversight mechanisms for the National Transport Authority.

Senator Robbie Gallagher - the need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the introduction of measures to improve ambulance response times in the National Ambulance Service.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Senators McGahon, Pauline O'Reilly, Seery Kearney and Ahearn, who are sharing time, and Keogan and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
