551 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of civil servants and other staff in her press office; and the grade and remuneration of each staff member. [31800/05]
View answerThere are four staff employed in the press office of the Department of Education and Science. This office deals with all press queries to the Department. The grades of the staff are as follows: one press officer at assistant principal officer level; two higher executive officers; one executive officer. The amount paid in respect of salary for these staff is in accordance with the Department of Finance salary scales for civil servants.
