842 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the current or expected residency and citizenship status in the case of persons (details supplied) in Dublin 24; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29835/08]

I wish to inform the Deputy that the persons concerned were both granted permission to remain in the State in May, 2002 on the basis of their being the parents of an Irish born citizen child. Both applicants currently have permission to remain in the State, under Stamp 4 conditions, until 17th January, 2009.
