Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance if he had any communication with the European Commission in relation to the allegations made concerning Ireland's tax treatment of Apple; and if his attention has been drawn to the Commission's examination of the matter, following these allegations. I can advise the Deputy that there has been no formal communication with the European Commission regarding the allegations referred to and we are not aware of any examination of this issue by the Commission.
